Imperio '21

Imperio ‘21 is an intra-departmental business fest organised by the School of Business and Management of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus - 'The Hub of Analytics', with an objective to challenge the 1st and 2nd year BBA Business Analytics students in different aspects of business and test their skills in various scenarios and situations. This gives them an opportunity to learn and grow and get a more detailed understanding of competitiveness and business acumen.
This business fest takes its thematic inspiration from ‘hashtags’ and all events resonate the same essence of thoughts/plans of action that are to be implemented for giving one the ability to AUGMENT oneself and EVOLVE the world around.

General Guidelines

•  Participants are expected to be in decent casuals.
• They must communicate only in English. Use of any other language may lead to disqualification/deduction of points.
• Cameras must be turned on throughout the event, failure in doing so may lead to deduction of points.
• They are to enter all virtual meeting links using the pseudonym allotted to them only. Their actual name will not be permitted.
• Participants will be required to work on MS – PowerPoint, MS – Word and MS – Excel. However, participants may choose any other tool which may aid their overall presentation with an understanding that usage of such tools does not have any additional points allotted to it.
• Malpractice in any form will have no tolerance in the event and any indecent behaviour during events may lead to disqualification and/or other disciplinary actions.
• In case of a network lag/glitch/any other issue, the organising committee must be informed immediately.
• In case the participant exits the virtual meeting due to network/hardware issues, the organising committee will wait for a period of 10 minutes for the respective participant to re-join. Failure to do so will result in treatment of participation of the team in that particular round as void.
• All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & final judgments will rest with the organising committee and the judges.
• In case of a tie, the weightage attached to a few rounds will be the deciding factor.
• Plagiarism of any sort will be dealt with strictly and will result in the deduction of points from the scores obtained by the team.
• For participating in #tooBIGtoIGNORE (Analytics), participants must install Discord.
• For participating in #TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly (Public Relations), participants are expected to have basic knowledge of most types of media, which are commonly associated with public relations.
• For participating in #WakandaForever (Best Manager), a list of all the devices and their use during the event must be sent to the event in-charges at the start of the event.
